To provide a safe, individually focused, academic needs driven learning environment for students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other disabilities. Our goal is to use research-based academic strategies in conjunction with Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to decrease disruptive behaviors and increase learning.
We serve neuro-diverse individuals who live in a very small world, often physically and emotionally isolated from aspects of the community. They miss opportunities to interact with others in settings and environments that currently do not support their inclusion.
We use a combination of computer-assisted teaching, communication tools and scientifically proven positive behavioral strategies to build capacity in those we serve.
The team includes mental health providers such as psychologists, board certified behavior analysts, educational experts, local business owners, artists, scientists, computer technologists, published authors and management specialist with expertise in program development, recruitment, sales, marketing and research. In addition, we have enlisted peer mentors to support the individuals we serve. The peer mentors also benefit from the program by learning the techniques of developing tools that help them increase empathy, understanding, and acceptance of diverse individuals.
